SOFT PC CLUB · ZERO SHARP CORNERS

A colorful computer club
with soft edges — bloop.

BLOOP is a 24-station PC club where every table is rounded, every chair is a drop, and the clock only counts the minutes you actually play. Loud colors, soft corners, honest hourly rates.

  • 24 stations
  • 240Hz panels
  • till 7am weekends

The floor

Three ways to sit down and play

Every seat on the floor is a rounded PC station with a mechanical keyboard, a wired mouse, and a headset hook. Pick the mood: a busy row, a hushed corner, or a two-seat puddle for co-op. No sharp table edges, no elbows in your ribs.

A row of dark gaming chairs and monitors at BLOOP's Wave rows stations

Wave rows

16 stations

The main current: sixteen stations running side by side on one long curved bench. 240Hz panels, quick-swap headsets, and a mouse mat wide enough to flick without hitting a neighbour. This is where the busy hours hum.

A quiet single gaming station in a soft-lit back corner at BLOOP's Deep corner seats

Deep corner

4 quiet seats

Four stations tucked into the soft back wall for people who want the volume down. Same hardware, dimmer lighting, and a padded divider that soaks up the room. Good for ranked grinds, coding sprints, or a long single-player evening.

A two-seat co-op gaming pod at BLOOP's Duo puddle stations

Duo puddle

2 per pod

Round two-seat pods shaped like a spilled puddle, angled so you and a friend share one screen sightline. Built for co-op runs, split-screen throwbacks, and teaching a newcomer the ropes without shouting across the room.

Pay for time, not corners

Rates by the hour

One clock, three windows, no membership wall. You book the seat and the hours; the total is the seat times the hours. That is the whole formula. Your first thirty minutes as a newcomer are on us, with someone at your shoulder to set up sound, sensitivity and screen.

Under the soft shell

The depth: real hardware, grown-up spec

Soft on the outside, serious inside. Every station runs a current-generation graphics card and a fast CPU, wired to a 240Hz panel on a low-latency line. The chairs are drop-shaped and, yes, genuinely comfortable for a six-hour sit.

240Hz panels

Flat 24-inch screens locked to 240Hz across the floor, colour-matched so your aim feels the same at every seat. No mismatched refresh, no surprise input lag.

Current graphics

A recent high-tier graphics card and a fast multi-core processor in every tower, refreshed on a rolling schedule so no station falls behind the pack.

Drop chairs

Blob-shaped seats with real lumbar support and breathable fabric. They look like puddles and hold up like proper ergonomic chairs through a long night.

Wired peripherals

Mechanical keyboards, low-weight wired mice and closed-back headsets, all cleaned between sessions. Bring your own if you prefer — we plug it in and go.

Chilled cans and a soft break area beside the BLOOP gaming floor

The Lounge

Puddle poufs, cold lemonade, spare chargers

Between rounds, spill onto a blob pouf and let your eyes rest. The lounge is a soft island off the floor with lemonade on tap, a shelf of loaner chargers for every common cable, and warm light that does not stab. Stretch, snack, and drift back when you are ready.

Short breaks stay off the meter: step away for up to 15 minutes and the clock pauses — no ticking, no penalty. Longer than that and the seat opens for the next player, so a full pause means checking out and back in. Grab a drink, breathe, and go again.

  • Blob poufs and rounded low tables
  • Lemonade, water and light snacks
  • Loaner chargers and cable shelf

Splash log

What changed on the floor lately

  1. New poufs landed

The lounge got a fresh batch of blob poufs in grape and mint — firmer foam, wipeable covers, and a shape that somehow fits everyone. The old ones served two years of marathons and earned their retirement to the back staff room.

  2. We repainted the wave wall

The long ripple that runs above the Wave rows went from teal to a deeper grape-and-mint gradient. It took a weekend and a lot of masking tape, but the whole floor reads warmer now, especially under the half-lit night lighting.

  3. A soft overnight marathon

Last Friday we ran a slow night marathon: dimmed floor, lounge open the whole time, and a co-op leaderboard tracked by score and clear time only. People drifted between stations and poufs till sunrise. We will do it again soon.

Bloop FAQ

Questions, answered soft

Is it really all soft, no sharp corners?

Really. Every table edge, divider and shelf on the floor is rounded, and the seats are moulded drop shapes. It started as a look and turned out to be practical — fewer bruised knees on a busy night, and a room that feels calm even when all 24 stations are full. The hardware inside stays sharp; the furniture does not.

How does booking work?

Use the form near the bottom of this page to reserve a date, a spot type and a block of hours. Pick Wave rows for the main floor, Deep corner for quiet, or a Duo puddle for two. Walk-ins are welcome when seats are open, but evenings and weekend nights fill up, so booking ahead is the safe move.

Can I bring my own gear?

Yes. Plug in your own keyboard, mouse, headset or controller at any station — the ports are easy to reach and we help you swap. Save files and settings still live on your own accounts; the machines wipe temporary profiles between sessions, so sign in fresh each time and log out when you leave.

Is the club kid-friendly in the early evening?

The early evening is the gentle window. Younger players are welcome right after we open at 8pm with a guardian nearby, the lighting is brighter, and staff keep an eye on the floor. The overnight marathon and the late night block are aimed at older players, so we keep those small hours calmer and quieter for the night crowd.

What happens overnight?

On Friday and Saturday the floor stays open until 7am. The lights drop, the wave wall glows, and the pace slows to a soft marathon. The lounge stays open for breaks the whole time, lemonade and all. Any friendly night contests are scored by points and clear time only — nothing riding on the result but bragging rights.

Just for fun

Free slots

Open seats after 8pm

When the evening rush eases, spare stations open up as free social slots — pull up a drop chair, pick a light party or arcade game, and play alongside whoever else is around. It is exactly what it sounds like: a computer game you play on the PC for fun.

  • No money involved and nothing to bet — you never pay to play a slot and you never win cash
  • Not gambling of any kind, just a casual game on the screen
  • Purely social: drop in, play a few rounds, drift off when you like
